The Good Karma Project

Christmas 2009 was a little different from usual. I spent six weeks on the Thai/Burma border working on a project founded by myself and my good friend, Josh. We named it 'The Good Karma Project' and it saw us teaching photography and art to children who have fled the oppression of Burma for a safer life in Thailand. We worked with New Zealand charity, Children On The Edge, and focused on migrant schools that are fully funded by donations from the New Zealand public.

We learnt so much about the situation through the children and other volunteers we spent time with. Below are a selection of images taken over the six weeks. The Good Karma exhibition and magazine both launch on the 1st April. I look forward to keeping you posted with more news closer to the time. A huge thanks goes out to all those who supported us with donations and of course to the sponsors who supplied us with the gear we needed to make the project happen.
